Club & District News:
Art Harvey has announced that he will be retiring from calling as of Jan 1, 2009 to travel and relax. We will wish them the best when the time comes, until then we´ll just enjoy dancing to his calling.
Roger and Cathy are back and Roger will actually be able to dance soon.
Wow! The District Dance in Alamo brought back memories of the days of packed halls and dancing elbow to elbow. Oddfellows Hall was full. There were 8 squares dancing for at least one tip with two-steppin´ and line dancing in between. Ted called a great dance and there were plenty of smiles and laughter happening.
We did hear a joke last night – (are you sure you want to hear this???) “What goes “ha, ha, thud’? A man laughing his head off, naturally. (Thanks, Rusty)
