Pat was born in Roswell, NM; graduated from Hot Springs High School; attended ENMU; was in the USAF for four years (four months in Viet Nam); farmed and ranched and owned a feed store in T or C, NM; at different times owned and operated a welding shop, used car lot, and music store in Las Cruces, NM; is a licensed pilot and owned a Piper Cherokee 140 for ten years; member of VFW and Elks; has traveled to 18 countries and 30 states; Retired in 1993.

Mary Lou was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Navy family. She was a tiny child living at the Naval Air Station at Kaneohe Bay on Oahu on Dec. 7, 1941 and experienced the early Pearl Harbor attacks first hand. She attended high school in Naples, Italy; Kingsville, TX; and graduated from Austin High School in El Paso, TX. She has a degree from UTEP (then Texas Western) and a masters degree from New Mexico State University. A retired teacher, she taught 33 years, lastly Math and Science at Middle School level. She has been a member of New England Genealogical and Historical Society and Sports Car Club of America, was local and state president of New Mexico Classsroom Teachers Association. Traveling was part of her life as a Navy "brat" and has continued to be so, abroad and to 36 states.

We live North of Las Cruces, New Mexico on one acre with lots of fruit and nut trees, grass, shrubs, roses, and flowers. To keep busy we travel in our motorhome, square dance, do genealogy, photography, read, and sing and play guitar at nursing homes. We design and maintain web sites and do other computer related activities. We currently belong to two square dance groups, The Doņa Ana County Camera Club, the Doņa Ana County Historical Society, the Las Cruces Computer Users group, and the Three Crosses RV Group.
